When the official charity of Propertymark — The Propertymark Trust — set out to redesign its website, the goal was clear: create a modern, accessible, and emotionally resonant online presence that could serve as both a source of help and a hub for hope within the property industry.
For Agent Extra, this project was more than just another build. Working with a nationally recognised organisation that represents over 18,000 property professionals was a huge milestone — and one we approached with care, collaboration, and purpose.

About The Propertymark Trust
The Propertymark Trust provides financial aid, educational grants, and wellbeing support to property professionals and their families. From helping those facing illness or hardship to funding professional development, the Trust’s mission is simple yet powerful — to support our industry’s people through life’s toughest moments.
With a growing community of 27 member regions, 40 trustees and volunteers, and over 18,000 professionals served, the charity plays a vital role in strengthening the property sector’s human side.
The Challenge
The Trust’s previous website no longer reflected its impact or accessibility. The design felt dated, navigation was fragmented, and critical calls-to-action — such as Donate and Apply for Support — were not as clear or emotionally compelling as they could be.
The board wanted a complete rebuild:
- A bespoke, modern website aligned with the Propertymark brand
- Simple navigation for users seeking support or wishing to donate
- A structure that could grow with the charity’s evolving initiatives
- And most importantly — a design that would connect emotionally with the people it exists to help
The Process
Agent Extra was selected after a full proposal and presentation process, reviewed by the charity’s board of trustees. Recognising the Trust’s charitable status, we discounted our fee to ensure the project could go ahead with the level of quality it deserved.
Our process involved:
- Discovery & Workshops – Collaborating closely with the Trust team to define goals, map user journeys, and clarify their visual tone.
- Design & UX – Creating a bespoke interface that blended empathy and professionalism, using calming tones, clear messaging, and intuitive structure.
- Development – Building the site from scratch for speed, accessibility, and ease of management via CMS.
- Testing & Launch – Rigorous cross-device testing and phased rollout to ensure a flawless experience for donors, trustees, and industry professionals alike.
The Outcome
The result was a fully bespoke, modern, and functional website that captures both the heart and purpose of The Propertymark Trust.
The new site:
- Provides a streamlined experience for those seeking financial or educational support
- Makes donating simpler with clear CTAs and integrated forms
- Features a dedicated news and updates section to showcase industry stories, fundraising campaigns, and community impact
- Reflects the Propertymark family brand, while standing proudly as its own charitable identity
